Snowbird at a glance
Snowbird is located in the heart of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Little Cottonwood Canyon, one mile down canyon from Alta, another historic Utah ski resort. Snowbird features the Aerial Tram, which extends over 2,900 vertical feet and takes about 7 minutes to travel from bottom to top. The resort also boasts 10 chairlifts, comprised of four high-speed quads and six doubles. The uphill capacity is 17,400 skiers and snowboarders per hour. Snowbird’s 85 runs are blanketed by approximately 500 inches of the “greatest snow on Earth” year after year. Snowbird is also blessed by the longest ski and snowboard season in Utah, from mid-November through May, weather permitting. Snowbird is only 29 miles from Salt Lake International Airport, making same-day skiing and flying a reality.
The Cliff Lodge

The Cliff offers slopeside accommodations and the only ski-in, ski-out access at Snowbird, and has 511 rooms spread across 12 floors. The Cliff Lodge houses three restaurants: Aerie Restaurant on the 10th floor with an attached lounge and sushi bar, El Chanate featuring typical Mexican fare, and the Atrium Restaurant at the base of the hotel with exceptional views. On top of the traditional 75 ft. long guest pool and hot tubs, the Cliff is also home to the newly renovated Cliff Spa and rooftop pool.

Additional amenities include Camp Snowbird, the resort’s comprehensive, state-licensed daycare facility, complimentary guest ski lockers, high-speed wireless internet throughout the property, a business center, ballroom, meeting rooms, a ski shop with full rental facilities, a ticket window, Mountain School office, Game Room complete with pool table, arcade games, and air hockey, and concierge and entertainment throughout winter months.

The recently revamped Cliff Spa is now better than ever. The Spa added a Thai massage program, and now hosts 21 rooms and over 30 treatment and salon services.
There is a yoga studio, full fitness center, solarium and steam room, rooftop pool and hot tub. Yoga classes are offered every morning and afternoon through the Body, Mind and Spirit Program. Enjoy the beautiful, soothing mountain views while enhancing your overall fitness.
